Today, we embark on a comfort food odyssey to craft the legendary Shepherd's or Cottage Pie. Or, as I like to call it, Homestyle Harvest Pie. This dish, perfect for cozy gatherings, will serve approximately 4 to 6 hungry souls. I often double or triple it for family dinners, as the leftovers are a big hit also!

  • Ground Beef or Lamb 1 pound
  • Olive Oil extra virgin 2 tbsp
  • Onion diced 1 cup
  • Parsley dried 2 tsp

  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper ½ tsp
  • Garlic Cloves minced 2

  • Peas and Carrots frozen 1 cup
  • Sweet Corn kernels ½ to 1 cup
  • large Russet Potatoes cubed 2
  • Butter ½ cup
  • Half and Half cup
  • Parmesan Cheese ¼ cup
  • Garlic Powder ½ tsp
